The problem

Stores lose money when staff go home.

Your storefront is locked, but customers still want to drop off and pick up. Manual handovers eat time, shrink margins, and limit service hours.

Smart lockers create a 24/7 unattended flow with minimal change to your model. Extend hours, reduce staff dependency, and improve customer satisfaction without refitting your whole operation.

"Expanding our dry cleaning and pickup service was a big goal, especially in reaching people in apartments and offices. The lockers are durable, easy to manage, and they've helped us offer 24/7 service without hiring more staff."

How it works

Three perspectives, one workflow

Lockers slot into your existing operation. No POS rip-and-replace. No retraining customers from scratch.

For customers

Drop garments in any open locker during or after hours. Submit the order in your app. Receive SMS / email when ready. Pick up anytime using the access code.

For drivers & staff

View daily pickup list in admin. Open lockers with RFID key or master code. Process garments. Return finished orders to any open locker — system auto-notifies the customer.

For owners

Monitor orders, payments, and locker activity in your dashboard. Reduce attended hours and extend access. Track ROI with real numbers, not estimates.

Pick what fits

Locker type decision matrix

Match locker mix to your service revenue split. Most stores need 5–10 lockers to fully automate drop-off and pickup.

Your primary service Best locker choice Why it fits Install notes
Wash-dry-fold dominant WDF Locker Three compartments per unit handles bulky bags efficiently Place near bag shelf and scale
Dry cleaning + hanging Long Door + Multi-purpose Full-height doors protect creases; multi-purpose handles mixed orders Mount garment bar at loading zone
Mixed in small footprint Multi-purpose + Express Box Two compartments for mixed orders; Express Box absorbs peaks Position Express Box closest to entrance
Many repeat daily users Express Box + WDF Speeds drop-offs and avoids compartment shortages Add large QR decals for speed

FAQ

Common questions from store operators

How long does installation take?

Lockers arrive pre-assembled and ready to bolt together. Most installs take 2–4 hours for a 5–10 locker bank. We provide a placement guide, decal application instructions, and software setup remotely. Lockers are battery-powered and offline, so there's no Wi-Fi or wiring required.

Do I need to refit my store?

No. The lockers are modular and bolt together against any flat wall. They're not bolted to the floor — they can be relocated as your layout changes or your network grows. No drilling, no contractor required for the standard install.

How does payment work for after-hours customers?

Customers pay through your existing POS app or QR code at the locker. Funds settle to your business account exactly as a counter order would. The system handles authorization at drop-off and capture at completion automatically.

What happens if a customer doesn't collect their order?

The system sends automatic reminders by SMS and email. After your configurable hold period (typically 7 days), the order flags for staff review. You set the policy that fits your business — most operators charge a small storage fee or relocate to general storage after 14 days.

Will lockers cannibalize my counter business?

The data from operators says no — the opposite. Lockers capture customers who would otherwise go elsewhere because your counter hours don't fit their schedule. Operators consistently report total order volume increasing 10–20% within the first 60–90 days, with a higher percentage of those orders coming from new customers.
